MOTOGP Report - France GP round

MOTOGP Report  France GP round - Le Mans

We had a feeling since the first GP and It was "in the air" already for a few races and finally in Le Mans came the first podium for Johann Zarco in MotoGP and in the home GP he could not ask for better. For the Yamaha Tech3 rider a 2nd (behind the winner Vinales) who has always seen him among the top riders for the whole race, fighting for the top positions and kissed, at the end of the race, by the "blind goddess" due to Rossi's sliding. Zarco has confirmed, besides being the most promising rookie, also to be a true certainty in the race, as the times in qualifying seem to confirm its fast adaptation to the motogp. Two points, though still far from top positions, for Sam Lowes contends instead of adapting to Aprilia, which is technically younger and needed to be tuned than Zarco's Yamaha.

MOTOGP Report  Spain GP round - Jerez

Best Yamaha rider and best rookie at the finish line: once again Johann Zarco confirms his excellent approaching to the new MOTOGP category and Jerez's fourth place proves he can already compete at the top of the category with his more acclaimed rivals. For the Tech3 tteam rider, the step ahead  is now to understand the dynamics of race management especially from the point of view of the "tires factor" that we know to be so important in the motoGP class. Still struggling with the setup the other "rookie" Sam Lowes who looks a bit back with the setting of his Aprila GP17.

In Moto2 class sixth place for  Marcel Schrötter and his Suter that is improving his pace at each GP.

The dutch round of the WSBK championship saw our Alex Lowes and his Yamaha R1 finishing the first heat with a crash while race two saw the english ace as the protagonist of a striking comeback from 15th to 5th place confirming that the pace of race, and the performances of his R1 Yamaha, are both.
