Fifth stage of the 2014 Dakar rally unfortunately marked by the news of the death of belgian rider Eric Palante. A perfect tactically race made by Esteve "tito" Rabat during the malaysian grand prix of the Moto2 class. In Sepang the spanish Pons team rider started strong and always in front of the group and pushing hard with lots of perfect laps that allowed him to gain a very large gap to manage for the rest of the race until the end that it was showing that it was very fast for all the guys on track.
